What 1:200 means

Every real measurement is divided by 200. An aircraft that is 72 metres long becomes a model approximately 36 centimetres long.

Allow room around the model

A case matching the exact dimensions will be too tight. Add clearance for the stand, tail, wingtips and safe handling.

Check the manufacturer listing

Published aircraft geometry gives a useful estimate, but the model’s pose, stand and moulding can alter its final footprint.
